Designed by Philip Vingboons and completed in 1638, Herengracht 168 is one of a series of stunning canal houses in the centre of Amsterdam. Vingboons championed a style of building facade known as "Halsgevel" (neck front) which was ornate yet functional and uniquely Dutch.
